Auf der Insel deiner Träume. So geht es unzähligen Verliebten auf der Sonneninsel Rhodos jedes Jahr. Eine Insel, von der schon der Sonnengott Helios wusste, weshalb er diese Insel so sehr liebte. Mit 300 Sonntagen im Jahr gehört Rhodos zu einer der sonnigsten Destinationen in Europa. Und ich bin unglaublich glücklich, dass ich diesen Fleck mein 2. zu Hause nennen darf. Als Fotografin auf Rhodos darf ich die wunderschönsten Heiratsanträge festhalten. Und um ehrlich zu sein muss ich das ein oder andere Mal auch eine Träne vergießen, wenn bei zwei sich liebenden Menschen die Emotionen Achterbahn fahren und sie einen Schritt weiter auf ihrem gemeinsamen Weg gehen.

Imagine getting the proposal of your dreams on the island of your dreams.
Every year, countless couples experience exactly that on the sun-kissed island of Rhodes. An island so beautiful that, according to Greek mythology, even Helios, the god of the sun, chose Rhodes as his very own and loved it dearly.
With around 300 days of sunshine a year, Rhodes is one of the sunniest destinations in Europe and I couldn’t be happier to call this little piece of paradise my second home.
As a photographer on Rhodes, I get to capture some of the most beautiful and emotional proposals. And if I’m being completely honest, there’s usually a tear or two behind my camera when emotions start running high and two people in love take the next step on their journey together.
