Bryony & Mark
An intimate destination wedding in Lindos, Rhodes, with a ceremony at the iconic St. Paul’s Bay Chapel and a relaxed celebration at Skala. Mediterranean light, turquoise sea and all the emotion of a Greek island wedding.
I’ve seen it many times: the ceremony ends, everyone wants to hug you, the reception begins and suddenly there’s barely any time left for photos. Add the summer heat and a tight schedule, and a beautiful moment can quickly feel rushed.
I’m not a wedding planner, but after photographing hundreds of weddings, I know one thing for sure: the last thing you need on your wedding day is stress.
That’s exactly what I don’t want for you. Your wedding should feel like a wedding, not a schedule to survive.
There should be time to breathe, hug your people, laugh, have a drink and simply enjoy being married. And of course, there should be time for beautiful photos too.
Photography somehow found me when I was 19. After three years of training, I started my own business at 23, fell completely in love with weddings and now, almost 13 years later, I still love telling stories about love, friendship, family, chaos and all those little moments that really matter.
You’ll find me photographing weddings around Düsseldorf, Germany, and on Rhodes – a place that has become my second home and where I spend most of my time. Spending so much time here has taught me one thing: Rhodes weddings are beautiful, but the heat and timing can make the day feel intense very quickly.
That’s why I don’t just show up with my cameras. I think ahead.
I don’t want to pull you away from your guests for hours. I’d much rather create small pockets of time throughout the day – ten minutes here, a short walk there, maybe a few photos later when the light is softer and the temperature finally feels human again.
And if I can see before the wedding that your timeline leaves you only ten minutes for photos between the ceremony and dinner, I’ll tell you. Beautiful wedding photos shouldn’t come at the cost of actually enjoying your wedding.
You don’t need to perform for my camera or worry about whether we got enough photos. That’s my job. Your job? Get married. Have the best damn time. I’ll take care of the memories.
Whether it’s Lindos, Kaminari Village, Ktima Lindos, Lighthouse Kiotari or somewhere completely off the beaten path, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
The questions you really want answered before your wedding in Rhodes.
Yes, of cause. For me it’s most important to get to know each other before you deciding for me as a photographer on this special day. In my opinion its most important to feel if the vibe between you and me match. Only than I am able to catch all the in between moments. I want you to act normally and enjoy your day not feeling uncomfortable having a photographer around. Most of the wedding I photograph are intimate and emotional so that’s exactly the vibe I want to catch. To get to know each other we will arrange a Video Call where we have enough time to feel not awkward when we meet on your wedding day.
I’m based between Germany and Rhodes. Since 2025, I’m proud to call Rhodes my second home and I try to spend as much time on the island as possible. That means I don’t simply fly in to photograph a wedding and leave again, as many destination photographers do. I actually spend time here, know the island and feel at home. And there’s another benefit for you: since I’m regularly based in Rhodes, I don’t charge any additional travel fees for weddings on the island.
That’s completely normal. Most couples I photograph aren’t used to being in front of a camera, and I want to take that worry off your mind. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. Your only job is to enjoy your wedding day with all the people you love.I’ll guide you through it whenever you need me to. And of course, the best photos usually happen when you stop thinking about the camera altogether.
You’ll receive your wedding photos in a beautiful private online gallery, where you can view, download and share all of your images with family and friends. I know how exciting it is to relive your wedding day, so I don’t believe in making you wait for months to see your full gallery. Your complete wedding gallery will be delivered within a maximum of 6 weeks.
There are so many wedding photographers out there, and I know choosing the right one can feel overwhelming. If you look at my work and feel something, if you recognize yourselves in the emotions, the movement, the little imperfect moments and all the details in between, then we might be a really good match. My goal is not simply to create beautiful wedding photographs. I want to tell the story of your day exactly as it felt: intimate, emotional, joyful and completely yours. The little things matter to me just as much as the big moments. The way someone looks at you when you’re not paying attention. A hand on your shoulder. The table you spent months planning. Your friends laughing somewhere in the background. All these details come together to tell the whole story. I’ll guide you when you need me, but I’ll never make your wedding feel like one long photoshoot. I want you to enjoy your day, be close to the people you love and forget about the camera as much as possible. Because in the end, I don’t want to give you photographs that simply show what your wedding looked like. I want them to bring back exactly how it felt.
